SUSANA VINOCUR FISCHBEIN - ARGENTINE
The current relevance of conceptual and clinical research for the psychoanalytic process. Advances in our environment.

Summary
The existence of the inseparable link between research and cure is not only manifested through the polysemic character of the psychoanalytic vocabulary, but also in the existence of different types of research with their own statements and related to each other by this link. After a brief review of the background of psychoanalytic research in our environment, some of the most recent contributions in the field of conceptual and clinical research in their interaction with related disciplines will be addressed.

RICARDO BERNARDI - URUGUAY
The contribution of developmental research to psychoanalysis and to society. A personal perspective from Uruguay.

ROGERIO LERNER - BRASIL
Science as culture: challenges for psychoanalysis as an interrogation of the matrices of meaning production.
Summary

In this paper, the knowledge derived from psychoanalysis will be discussed from its empirical clinical origin in articulation with a methodology of producing evidence on a group scale with statistical treatment influenced by epidemiological studies. This articulation will be presented as one of the ways in which psychoanalysis can contribute to public policies and, therefore, gain a competitive advantage in the dispute for funds allocated to research that produces evidence on a group scale. It is along this path that psychoanalysis can gain the ground it has been losing in academia and point out the fallacy of the claim that it is not evidence-based.
